Disease Classification from TCR/BCR Repertoire

Heewook Lee, Sonny Mousavi, (2026-27).

Background

Adaptive immunity is the body’s ability to recognize and respond more effectively to previously encountered pathogens, such as bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses. Through exposure to infections, vaccines, and autoimmune diseases, the immune system leaves molecular signatures of past and ongoing immune responses. The main goal of the project is to develop a computational framework for disease classification given adaptive immune repertoire (BCR/TCR).
